Chef Laureen Vance

Chef Laureen Vance’s passion for cooking began when she was a child. As a teenager she became the primary cook in her household and took her skills to music school where she was often asked to cater receptions for friends doing recitals. Even as an elementary music teacher Chef Laureen continued to find a way provide delicious home cooked meals for her family.

When Chef Laureen decided to make a career change she enrolled at the Arizona Culinary Institute in Scottsdale, AZ where she graduated with honors. Chef Laureen decided to start Effortless Bistro to provide clients with quality meal planning and preparation so that they may gain time and independence in their daily lives. Effortless Bistro is a licensed and insured business. Chef Laureen is a proud member of the American Private and Personal Chef Association and is ServSafe certified.

Chef Laureen’s culinary experience is linked to her personal story. She grew up in New Jersey and after graduating from college lived in Oregon for 10 years. In 2003 she moved to Arizona. Over the years Chef Laureen has collected recipes representing the local cuisine of the places she has lived. Whether it’s Italian pasta, native Pacific Northwest inspired salmon, or a spicy Southwestern dish, Chef Laureen will create a healthy and delicious home cooked meal.

Chef Laureen also is particularly fond of baking and will happily bake cookies, quick breads, muffins, scones and other items that may make a quick snack or breakfast. If customers have a special occasion, Chef Laureen can create beautiful deserts and is a skilled cake decorator.

Through Effortless Bistro, Chef Laureen looks forward to helping you enjoy healthy and delicious meals in comfort of your own home while giving you the extra time to give attention to the important people and details of your life.
